What price ranges are you looking for?
Two most important things: price and packaging. If we are faced with multiple options for similar products price and then packaging will be the determining factors.
We are looking for products in the range of $1 to $15 CAD.
Important to note that this an incredible opportunity to get your product in front of over 1,500 new customers who have maybe not heard of you before, so you need to weigh in the benefit of that increased exposure into your proposal for pricing.
Are there any requirements for packaging or labelling?
Poor packaging combined with above average pricing will put you at a disadvantage against someone with nicer packaging and a more competitive price point.
Ingredients, volume/weight are required for any bath, beauty, or food products.
If you sell a prepackaged non-food product in Canada, you must ensure the package label meets the requirements of the Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act and Regulations.
Are there any limits on size and weight?
The Pow Wow Pitch mailer boxes are 11 x 8 x 4 inches, and we are looking for products that are in the range of 4 x 4 x 3 inches in size.
The total weight of the mailer box is ideally below 2.0 pounds. We like products to be under 1.0 pound. Overweight products will limit the number of other products we can put in a box.
How many of my product are you looking to buy?
Our order will be for 1,000 to 1,500 of each product for the 2022 box.
This is subject to change.
How does invoicing and payment work?
Upon placement of an order, you will negotiate a purchasing order and a confidentiality agreement with a Buyer from Raven Reads.
The confidentiality agreement is to protect confidential information discussed during our negotiations, payment terms, and to preserve information about what is going into the box before this is announced to the public.
Each purchase order will outline the specifics of a purchase request, including an order description, quantity of items, and the agreed-upon price and payment terms. They also identify the purchase order (PO) number.
Deposit amount, payment terms, and payment method will be negotiated as part of the purchase order.
What should I know about shipping my product to you?
When shipping boxes to us, each box needs to weigh less than 50lb to ensure ability for safe lifting by our warehouse team. This may require sending smaller parcels with fewer products in each box. Fewer boxes does not always equal less shipping cost.
Your Buyer will work with you to find the lowest cost and most efficient shipping option available and coach you through the shipping process. Please ensure you are including estimated shipping times as a part of the order fulfillment timeline.
Please let your Buyer know if there are any temperature control requirements of your product.
What if there are delays in shipping you the product?
Because of the nature of our fulfillment process, it is important that product arrives at our Kamloops warehouse by 3:00PM PST September 30, 2022.
While we understand that there can be weather delays or other shipping delays, if product ships late or arrives significantly late at the fault of the shipper, our purchasing agreements do outline that we withhold the right to delay final payment or deduct from the final amount owing.
Delays cost us money. We may need to delay bringing in workers to pack boxes or have them come in for extra days after your product arrives- or we have to put in extra labour and time to respond to customer inquiries over the delay.
It is important to be realistic about the lead time you require to produce the product and consider any possible delays in sourcing your own raw materials and/or manufacturing or packaging the product.
